Spelling, times tables and reminders

Please find Team Amin's first spelling homework attached below. We start off with some KS1 spelling this week before we move into spelling words from our Spelling programme from next week. All children will be sent home today with a paper copy of their spellings but from now on, they will be uploaded on to the blog in the interest of saving paper! Please do not worry about bringing in their practice sheets - they will be tested on a Friday morning each week. As always, they will also have time to practise at school too. 

For times tables, we are practising our 2s to begin with so please encourage your child to recap and practise these as much as possible this week. Again, a quick test (and attempt to get their times tables badge!) will be on Friday mornings! We did some practising today and Team Amin all blew us away with their tremendous efforts!

All children are also being sent home today with a banded book. Please do write in their reading record and send this in on Monday morning. If the book is too easy/too hard, please do not hesitate to write this down in the record for my knowledge!
