Hi Team R-B!
So my new favourite thing of this week is getting to speak to some of you on the phone. It's been so great catching up with your grown ups to find out what you have all been up to and I have even been lucky enough to speak to you guys too! If you haven't had a phone call from me yet, keep an ear out for the phone ringing!
PE: PE With Joe Wicks! It's dress up Fridays ... what are you going to dress up as? Send me a photo!
English: Today were are going to start our new story, Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Book by our favourite author ... Lauren Child. Find the book above in a video:
Today I would like you to create either a story map or re-tell the story in your own words.
Maths: Lots of you haven't logged into Times Tables Rock Stars for a while! If you haven't have a little practice log in and have a go. If you haven't got your password, email me and I can help you!
Now because we haven't been at school for a long time we haven't been able to earn our timestables badges. The links below are to the Times Tables sheets. See if you can earn your next badge ...
The Rules:
You only have 3 minutes to complete
Every question must be correct to earn the badge
Remember, you only have to complete the first section of the sheet, cut up the sheets if it is easier.
The more you practice, the quicker you will get
If your grown up witnesses you completing the sheet they can email me and we can send you the badge in the post!

Topic
Over the next five days, you will explore for incredible artists through time. As we learn about them, we will also consider where they fit onto a timeline. We will explore their artwork, sometimes creating our own inspired by them too. The first significant artist we are going to explore is a lady who was born in 1892 called Minnie Evans. Can you place Minnie Evans birth year is on the timeline you made yesterday? Minnie was born in North Carolina explaining that she was an African American artist. She started drawing in 1935. She was much inspired by different cultures when she created her art. Take a look at the range of images of her art work in the link. Think about the form, colours, shapes etc.

Think about: which is your favourite piece and why?
Recorded task: Can you recreate a Minnie Evans sketch and post it on the Padlet. I will also try and post my own too!
Helping at Home: I've been doing lots of sorting out during my time at home. Maybe you could do the same with some of your books or toys?
Happy Friday! It's the Weekend!
