New Spellings
In class, we have been looking again at suffixes...
This time, however, we have had to drop the 'e' from the end of the word, before the suffix is added. These words were sent out on Friday and will be tested next Friday - 4th October.
In addition, we have introduced the pupils to the seven different strands of reading comprehension that will be assessed in the SATS tests. These different strands each have a dog character to help focus the children on what the question is asking. A short comprehension task has been sent home as a means of practising these skills. This is due in by next Friday.
