Fireworks!

This week we explored Bonfire Night, we talked about the story of Guy Fawkes and why we celebrate Bonfire Night in England. We then learnt how to keep safe when we see a bonfire, when we watch fireworks and when we use sparklers!

We then got to make our own fireworks using chalk, paint, ribbon, glitter, sequins and different coloured pens. We were very creative and really enjoyed learning about Bonfire Night and the history behind it.
