Diwali

Last week in Team Barnes, we learnt about Diwali. The children really understood why people celebrate it and how they use lamps in their windows to represent the good defeating the bad. We made rangoli patterns, henna designs, diva lamps, created firework pictures and we had a very special lunch which included saag paneer, samosas and curry. We really enjoyed trying the new food.
