You are all doing amazingly!!
Maths I am learning to subtract using number bonds.
Mental oral maths starter; Watch this video which recaps how to subtract using number bonds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_1gwP8m2JM. Don’t forget to show all possible calculations. For example if 10 is the whole and 3 and 7 are the parts, all the subtraction calculations that can be shown are as follows;
10 – 7 = 3 or
10 – 3 = 7
Have a go at showing all the calculations for the number bonds attached below! They go up to 20. See how speedily you can get this done!
Then, follow the PowerPoint Counting back and then have a go at the Reasoning and problem solving and varied fluency activities.

Please create your own story map of of The Jolly Postman. Follow the tips below so you include as much interesting detail as possible.
Step 1 – draw what happens in the story. Start at the beginning then using arrows lead on to what happens next, in the middle, after that and then finally at the end of the story.
Draw particular characters and something about the letter they receive.
Step 2 – Write about how you feel and/or the characters feel at each part of the story. For example, excited, scared, surprised to receive a letter etc
Step 3 – Write down descriptive language (adjectives) that you would use to describe the parts of the story such as, describing the weather as bright and sunny, the forest is dark and damp the gingerbread house looked deliciously edible etc
Step 4 – Use your story map to retell the story of The Jolly Postman and Other People’s Letters. You can add in details if when retelling the story you notice you might have missed something.

Topic - I am learning to use aerial maps and photographs to identify human and physical features
An aerial view is ‘from the air’.
Human features are man made like roads, buildings, harbours, bridges, churches etc.
Physical features are natural such as beaches, forests, some fields, rivers etc.
Take a look at this aerial view video of part of Ramsgate, see what you can recognise and name from above. It might look a little different than it does from the ground. Shout out what you can see and recognise!
