I'm extending the CRAZY hair competition until Friday! I can't wait to see your crazy designs!
Hi Team R-B,
PE: Today I would like you to have a go at Jump Start Jonny Dances, maybe you could try this one … https://www.jumpstartjonny.co.uk/free-stuff
Maths: Can you have a go at the recording weight challenge?
English: Well done for a great start on your stories so far. Today we are going to continue writing your moral. Remember to look back at your plan from Friday to help you.
Today I would like you to end your story, think about what your characters learnt and also how they felt about what they learnt.
Spelling: This week we are looking at the i sound spelt with a y. Can you complete the Choose the Right Word Game then write out the sentences in your best handwriting?
Topic: Today we will learn how fashion has changed over time.
The clothing we wear are made from materials. Which materials do people commonly wear?
Task 1: Think about why wood or metal wouldn’t make good clothing?
At the end of the topic, you will create a virtual fashion show using your knowledge of fashion and of materials.
Fashion is a part of a country’s culture and even its’ history. Below are some images of clothing from a range of time periods in Britain.
Task 2: Order these into a time line
Task 3: Which do you prefer and why? Why do you think fashion changed? Did you know different things influence fashion changes e.g. the materials available, travel, design, money etc.
Task 4: Choose two time periods to compare and contrast with labelled sketches and sentences.
Helping at Home: Can you help today by helping to do some dusting around the house?
Happy Wednesday!
Love Miss R-B, Mrs Fetherston, Mr Brown and Charlie Fudge xx
