It's Wednesday! What a great week we seem to be having!
Learning for today:
PE: Yoga morning!
M: Start with a speedy recap of your 4x and 8x. You can do this with a dice game if you have dice, chanting, or even bingo (with your family?) That would be lots of fun I think!
I hope you enjoyed working with the White Rose Home Learning section yesterday. Today, we continue with perimeter of rectilinear shapes. So: work your way through Lesson 3: Perimeter of rectilinear shapes and have a crack at some practice questions. Now, I have an awful feeling I uploaded the wrong worksheet yesterday and sincerely apologise. I am attaching what should have been yesterday's (Rectangles) and today's (Rectilinear shapes) sheets below. Do not worry about redoing the rectilinear worksheet if you did it yesterday. Instead, today, see if you can draw some different rectilinear shapes with a perimeter of 14cm? 22cm? What about 3 different rectilinear shapes all with a perimeter of 16cm? This will be easiest done using square paper if you have any on hand at home! Apologies again!

E: Catch up with the story so far: we are part of the way through Part 3. Today, I would like you to pretend to be Karl as he decides to use the little knight for all the wrong reasons and little Prince Florian for the clocktower's new figure. Write a monologue as Karl as he makes his decisions to forget all of his good influences and storms towards the tower. Will you portray him as good or evil? Right or wrong? Crazed or desperate to impress the villagers and Herr Ringelmann? Remember, a monologue is written in 1st person, present tense and needs to be dramatic and powerful! You may even like to perform it to your adults once you have written it!
RWInc: Take a look at today’s learning task for Save the Whale! Spelling and text, as always, attached below. Remember comprehension questions still need a full stop and capital letter for full sentence answers! Don’t forget to send pictures of your learning!

Today, we are going to think about how we can protect the rainforest! Work your way through the Powerpoint, sort out the positives and negatives and then make your promise. Make as many notes as you can because tomorrow, we are going to have a go at writing a speech about why protecting the rainforest is so important!
