Etiquette

At Ramsgate Arts Primary School, we believe that fostering an understanding of the value of good manners is a key part of personal development in our pupils.

We know that young people must be taught how to present themselves, interact with others and communicate effectively. For that reason, we aim to instil good social etiquette in our pupils by-

modelling effective etiquette at all times
providing pupils with opportunities to discuss and practise effective etiquette
providing pupils with useful feedback regarding their etiquette
rewarding and celebrating examples of good etiquette

Our Junior Leadership Team (JLT) collaborated on a project across Viking Academy Trust to develop ways in supporting pupils to understand and show good etiquette. They met to plan ways to do this and decided to create short informative films to spread their ideas.
