New spellings
In class this week, during our Star Spelling sessions, we have begun yet another unit on suffixes - this time beginning with a consonant...
Therefore, the spelling words this week all contain suffixes such as -ness, -less, -ment etc. A copy of the word list was sent home on Friday, paper copies are in the classroom and an electronic copy can be found attached below.
A reading comprehension, based on the poem 'Dolphin', has also been sent home. As always, if there are questions the children are unsure about, they are welcome to get support from the year 6 team in school - just ask!
