Good morning, Team Amin! I hope you had a wonderful Monday!

Learning for today:

FIVE MINUTE EM TASK: Move around your house/room and find 3 items that:

a) are cuboids

b) are yellow

c) are smaller in size than your hand

d) have 8 vertices

e) have a rounded surface

There may be some items that work for more than one statement! That is great!

 

PE: Find a safe space (Garden? Living room?) and do 25 jumping jacks, 10 star jumps and 10 bunny hops.

 

M: Start with a speedy recap of your 9x on Rockstars, Hit the Button, chanting etc. You might like to play Bingo!

Continuing with graphs and interpretation today, let’s think about line graphs! Work your way through the Powerpoint in slide show mode trying to work out the answers to the questions in green before revealing them! Done? Take a look at the worksheet and questions attached, I have left the answers for you so that you can check! Let me know how you find it :)

 

E: Listen to the next chapters of Varjak Paw if you haven’t caught up already. I will be adding more for tomorrow!

We make a return to the writing challenge list today for the last time (in the English Writing section of RAPS Home Learning area)! Take a look at the list and pick a challenge you have yet to do! Be as creative as you like with it, but most importantly, enjoy the writing process! I can't wait to read some of your pieces! I for one think I might write my own prequel (back story) for the space-bat-angel-dragon!

RWInc: Mrs Fox has left you with a list of 'fun' activities to try this week as opposed to normal RWInc day to day tasks! Take a look, make your choices and get going! Yesterday, we tried the first 2 tasks - I didn't realise how many words I could make with my name alone! WOW!

 

Topic: You are going to have a go at carrying out an experiment this week! Today is all about melting chocolate! Work your way through the Powerpoint reading the information carefully. Ask you come across the optional tasks, decide whether you want to complete some/all of them! Have fun!

Extra activities:

R: Access the class reader Powerpoint if you haven’t already and listen along and/or read a chapter of a book of your choice. I have added chapters for you recently.

Spelling: Practise this week’s new spelling in time for your last spelling test of the year this Friday!
