Meeting and Greeting People

On Friday, we explored how using our manners can make people feel and why. Did you know that research suggests most people make their first impression of a person within 7 seconds? After discussing the meaning of the phrase ‘first impressions count’, we thought carefully about how making a good first impression can have an impact on others and on our own success with something. We considered how we might meet and greet others, and even explored ways of doing this around the world too! We really enjoyed learning about how other cultures meet and greet each other, and how this might be different to our experiences. Well done, Year 3!
