Making rangoli patterns!

Today, Year 3 explored the tradition of making rangoli patterns like Hindus do during Diwali. We know that Hindus create beautiful patterns using coloured powder, flowers, rice and grains. They decorate their floors with these amazing patterns to welcome Lakshmi and good luck into their homes. We had a go at making rangoli patterns. It was tricky, but also lots of fun!
