JLT Election

Today, Team Cialis became a Polling Station and the class became an electorate.
It's that time of year again when the school elects new JLT representatives. In Team Cialis we held a hustings where candidates made speeches to persuade their peers to vote for them.  Then each child was given a voting slip and got the opportunity to post their ballot in the box.

During Personal Development week, the children learnt about how decisions are made in Britain and how our electoral system works. Today's class voting not only allowed the children to cement this learning, but also allowed the children to experience democracy in action.

Why not ask your child who their representatives are?
