Topic Theme Day

We are clearly interested in lots of significant people from history with some of the incredible costumes and dressing up we saw yesterday! Wow! Alexander Fleming, Frida Kahlo, Charlotte Bronte, Steve Irwin, Valentina Tereshkova, Buzz Aldrin, Malala Yousafzai, Anne Frank, Pythagoras and Muhammad Ali, to name just a few!

We had the best time digging for fossils like the palaeontologist Mary Anning, learning about space from astrophysicists and astronomers like Dame Maggie Aderin-Pocock and deciding what we would take to space, listening to and ‘rocking out’ to the music of musicians like Queen, David Bowie, Taylor Swift and Sinatra, creating our own band names, writing songs… and finally creating the futuristic inventions we designed during lessons.
