RE: Hinduism

We have been exploring the beliefs and practices of Hindus this week! We have learnt all about the aum symbol, Hindu gods and goddesses and the importance of the Hindu shrine and today, we explored the features of a puja plate. We know what each element is (e.g. offerings of fresh fruit, sweets and flowers, a bell, incense, kum kum, fresh water and an oil lamp or diya) and what it symbolises. Today, Team Amin started to work on a final piece of work to show off their learning about Hinduism so far!
