We are going to use a picture from Gregory Cool today as a prompt for you to write your own dialogue…
The image shows Granny and Grandpa just arriving at the beach. What might they say to each other? I would like you to write out a short conversation between them. You need to focus on speech punctuation (inverted commas, capital letter to begin speech, punctuation before the closing inverted comma) and try to include some non-standard English as looked at last week.
