Oracy Week

Oracy Week was a wonderful experience. As well as taking part in a number of excellent workshops, Team O worked hard to write and perform speeches about our chosen topic. The title was 'You wouldn't believe it but...'

I was genuinely blown away by the hard work and tenacity that the pupils showed when writing these speeches. We worked on physical oracy, practising how to stand and gesticulate to accentuate important points.

Most children decided to perform their speeches in front of the class, and we were so very proud of them! Every child deserved to be a winner, so we are going to have a little hot chocolate treat with Ms O and Ms Marfleet on Friday afternoon!
