Spellings and Homework
Within our spelling sessions in class, the children have been learning the spelling rule 'i before e, except after c', in relation to the 'ee' sound. Ten of these words make up this week's spelling list...
A paper copy was sent home on Friday, but there is an electronic copy attached at the bottom of this blog post. Similarly, the latest reading comprehension was sent out in paper form, with a copy attached below if you require one!
The spelling words will be tested next Friday (10th Feb), on the same day that the homework is due.
Please also remember to sign four reads in your child's reading record for them to bring into school each Monday (Tuesday at the latest).
