We hope that you all had a wonderful Summer, full of adventure, fun and laughs! On Monday, you will begin your time in year 6; your final year at RAPS! Here are a few reminders and a heads-up about the arts curriculum...
Firstly, please ensure that all children arrive in school between 8:15 and 8:30 so that the school day can begin promptly. The children are encouraged to bring in a drinks bottle, which can be kept in the basket by the classroom door. They do not need to bring in pencil cases as all resources required are provided by the school.
On the first day, reading records will be given out. Thereafter, each child will be expected to hand it in every Monday with at least four signed reads. These can be from home books, library books or books from school.
The arts curriculum timetable for term 1 will be as follows:
Monday - Computing and indoor PE
Tuesday - Dance and Art
Wednesday - Drama and Music
Thursday - Swimming
There is a welcome meeting for parents / carers on Friday 9th September between 2:30pm and 3:00pm where we will go over the routines and any further information. Hopefully we will see many of you then.
