Love to Learn

Your first love to learn homework this year is to design a poster encouraging people not to litter. This is a competition run by ‘Litter Angels’. Year 5 pupils in every primary school across the Thanet constituencies are being invited to take part in this year’s competition

Think about how litter can have a negative effect on the environment in which you live and play. Then can then use your imagination to design a colourful and vibrant anti-litter poster. The theme for this year is, ‘Litter on our Streets’.

Once all the entries have been received, they will then be narrowed down to one winner from each school. Each winner will receive a goodie bag containing a certificate, a personalised mug and a copy of the Litter Angels storybook.

One overall winning poster will be displayed in McDonald’s car parks across Thanet and both the school and winning pupil will each win a cash prize!

• Your poster needs to be hand-drawn and on plain A4 paper.
• Please do not stick it in your Love to Learn book.
• Use felt tips to colour rather than pencil.
• It should have a catchy slogan and a picture.

Please hand in your poster by Fri 30^th September 2022.
