    Welcome back to Term 4. We hope you have had a lovely half term!

    Our PE days are back to Monday and Wednesday now and a friendly reminder to ensure your child brings their reading book/folder in every day.

  • Y2: Happy Number Day

    What a fantastic day we had on Friday with a whole school day of Maths!

    The children had a great day working systematically to create their own witches' potions with Miss Millidine,  investigated a city building problem with Miss Morris, built their own robots with Mr Brown and used their new learning about money to go shopping for ingredients at Mr Brun-Cialis' magic shop! Ask them all about it :)

  • Planting spring bulbs

    Today, we planted daffodils and other flowers in our school beds and planters! It was so much fun digging in the soil and placing the bulbs around the playground. Everyone was so excited to help, and we can't wait to see the beautiful flowers growing!   • How do you make a sandwich?

    For our next unit of writing, we are writing our own instruction texts in the form of recipes! Today, we talked about what an instructional text is and how it must be precise and explicitly clear to ensure a great outcome! We learnt about how imperative verbs (bossy verbs) are used for this. To show our growing knowledge, we were tasked with teaching Miss Amin how to make a sandwich, which was trickier than we thought! Then, we had a go at instructing our talk partners, being precise and brushing up on our oracy skills too! What fun we had!
