New spellings

These words are all linked to the spelling rule we have been looking at in Unit 2 of Star Spelling in class. These words all have a suffix beginning with a vowel and include a root word that ended in an 'e' - which needed to be dropped before the suffix was applied.

Also, the children have been sent home with another reading comprehension to complete. This is due in by Friday of next week. We recommend getting it finished and brought into school as soon as possible to avoid the stress of forgetting it on Friday.

Finally, a reminder, as always, that reading records should be in at the beginning of each week with at least four signed reads.
