Did you know that Diwali, or the Festival of Light, happens every year in October or November! We now do!
This week, we have been learning about Hinduism in Year 3. We have listened to the story of Rama and Sita and heard about Rama’s defeat of the evil demon king, Ravana, in Lanka with the help of Hanuman, the monkey king, and his army! We have collaborated to act out the story of Rama and Sita and today, we learnt all about the special lamps that Hindus light during Diwali! Ask us all about it!
