Personal Development

In our first few days back, we have had our Personal Development week...

During these sessions, we have discussed the difference between banter and bullying, creating some agreed statements on when it is no longer banter and what we should do if this happens.

In addition, we have talked about the fact that 'failure' is not always a bad thing - looking at examples of extremely famous and successful people throughout history, who failed initially.

We have spoken about how we can be financially sensible and save money - particularly in a cost of living crisis.

Finally, we explored how best to identify and deal with worries; creating an ideas bank for dealing with worries when they arise.

We also had RE lessons, where we looked at the role the Qur'an plays in the lives of Muslims. Why not ask your child what they remember from the week?
