We have been learning about climate and climate zones. Did you know there are several climate zones on Earth? The UK, for example, has a 'temperate' climate zone, but Antarctica has a 'polar' climate zone! Climate refers to the pattern of weather that happens over a month or year and helps us to predict future weather patterns. Using our new knowledge, we worked in small groups on Friday to explore climates across the world, looking at climate graphs to find the highest and lowest temperatures, temperatures in different months of the year, and the levels of precipitation each month. WOW!
