A fantastic welcome!

We are thoroughly impressed with the new Year 5 this week. We have welcomed an enthusiastic and energetic Team who, I'm sure, are ready to challenge themselves and build resilience for the year ahead. 

We are very lucky to have a supportive and creative team working with us this year; Mrs Aldred, Mr Brown, Mr Adams and Miss Dannell as well as Mr Pressley and his Team next door. We are just as eager to get going and begin the Year 5 journey as you are!

Team Godwin have understood the expectation of the jump to year 5 and this exciting opportunity is full of chances to grow and learn in many exciting ways. I have felt so welcomed into the RAPS community, the Team have been kind, generous and humorous in our few days together. 

We are learning all about the Titanic this week, and it has been great to see the children enthralled in this topic. Through this we have seen the creativity in their poster making and their logical thinking when ranking the biggest contribution to disaster. The commitment to being the best year 5 yet has impressed me. 

Welcome to Year 5 Team Godwin, you're going to smash it. Well done for this week so far. Keep up the exceptional work and thank you for the amazing welcome.
