Light Festival
Next week children will perform at Ramsgate festival of light.
As you may be aware it is Newington Lights Festival on Friday 18th October and your children have been chosen to perform a dance piece at the beginning of the event! The Y5 children have been exploring West African dance this term and created a joyful piece of dance that will be accompanied by live drummers on the day.
This will be around 5:30pm, outside Newington Community Centre. Children must dress in Black trousers and a colourful top.
Mrs Batchelor and Mrs Prince will be there to meet the children and get them ready for the performance, but this is not a school trip, so you will be responsible for your child during the event.
