We have a new core text!
This week, we have started to explore 'The Secret of Black Rock' by Joe Todd-Stanton. We had so much fun seeing the illustrations, waving when we heard key words and phrases and creating our own freeze frames of key moments whilst thinking carefully about how our characters might be feeling. We loved being the Black Rock, Erin, Archie and the plotting fishermen and fisherwomen, or having a go at directing our group too! Ask us all about it.
