TOPIC DAY !

As a way to kick off the term, year 4 will be doing a whole day centred around our topic of 'Blast from the Past'. Children are encouraged to dress up like ancient Egyptians.

There are lots of fancy dress costumes out there, but for a more budget-friendly idea, you could use a long plain dress or tunic, a bedsheet or scarf knotted/ tied around the waist or over the shoulder. Footwear should still be practical, but if you would like to send your child in with a change of shoes to complete the look, they will not be alone as I myself will be sporting delightful socks with sandals combo ! We ask you not to apply face paint or makeup to the children, as we want the children to enjoy the day for what it is rather than worrying about their eyeliner being wonky.
