Year 2 do Theme Day!
Thank you parents and carers for your support!
What a brilliant way to end our Topic with a Theme Day! We dressed up as some of the significant people we have learnt about or are interested in, like Ada Lovelace, Malala Yousafzai, Frida Kahlo, Emmeline Pankhurst, David Attenborough, Howard Carter, Greta Thunberg and Florence Nightingale, to name just a few! We had the best time digging for fossils like the palaeontologist Mary Anning, being a part of a ‘living museum’ and sharing knowledge of who we dressed up as, listening to and ‘rocking out’ to the music of significant musicians, creating our own band names, writing songs, taking part in a space carousel… and finally, creating our own flying inventions like the Wright Brothers for a paper plane challenge. WOW! Ask us all about our special day!
