World Book Day

Firstly, a huge well done and thank you to all the adults for helping the children look amazing! We had such a diverse range of book characters - they all looked superb!

After an assembly about the Day, we participated in listening to stories from members of staff; a World Book Day live lesson delivered online from many famous authors (many of whom have a book included in the World Book Day voucher scheme); sharing stories with reception children; guessing the masked readers and creating a design for the new Book Token.

All the children should bring home a voucher today that can be exchanged in most bookshops for one of the titles in this year's list, or as £1 off the price of any other book.

A reminder too to email any entries for the Reading Challenge to Miss Spurrier before tomorrow!
