Art to Start, Allan Innman

Our Art to Start this term was influenced by the 'Flight of Fancy' collection by Allan Innman. Allan uses toys and figurines in the centre of his artwork and adds wonderful, fantasy scenic backgrounds as if the toys are in a dream or magical land. 

Since this links very nicely to our topic of Playing, Past and Present we thought we'd give it a go! On Monday we shared our favourite toys and took photos of these to then use in our art creations. The creations certainly are quite wonderful. 

As always, thanks for everyone that could make it in to work alongside your child, I know it's sometimes a pain to get into school with work and life etc.
