Speaker Competition 2025
'The Viking Speaker' competition theme for this year is to think of a new subject that you would like to be taught in your school and persuade your head of school to introduce it.
Children who would like to take part will need to work on their speeches over the next 2 weeks . All children will receive a planning document to support them in generating ideas, planning and structuring their speech.
Team Williams will then hold a 'Speaker Competition' and vote for one winner from our class. They will then perform their speech during assembly on Friday 13th March to a panel of guest judges. 4 school winners will then be selected to participate in 'The Viking Speaker' competition on Friday 28th March at Royal Harbour Academy. Parents and selected pupils will be invited to attend the final.
-The speech must last no longer than 2 minutes
-No slides, props or music are allowed
