Maths: Number

Today, Team Amin explored the history of number. We know that humans have used number for thousands of years to record days, ages, how many animals we have and much more. We still use number today but rather than using a tally method or ancient Egyptian symbols, we use the Hindu-Arabic numeral system. This involves using place value columns for our digits to go in and means we do not have to draw too many symbols.
