In RE, we studied Hinduism. The room was decorated with traditional saris and rugs and we lit some incense, learnt about prayer, rituals and the gods.
Our first topic this term was 'Materials'. We felt in a feely bag and had to see if we could work out the material of the object inside!
This year the theme was: ‘The importance of celebrating a multi-cultural and diverse world’. Well done to Tallullah and Henry for being voted the winners of the class competition and good luck in tomorrow's school final!
Next year, as you know, I will continue to teach the class. The teaching assistants will be Mr Holliday and Miss Aldridge
Today, we had a STEM workshop where we had to build boats that floated and held 25 pennies!

On Friday, children from all of KS2 visited Chatham/Clarendon to watch an adaption of Peter and the Wolf
For our topic 'Space', we learnt about how Earth orbits the sun and the moon orbits the earth. We took it in turn to be the sun, Earth and the moon orbiting each other! We then created our own working model using split pins.

Today we discussed if the Earth is round or flat and how we couldn't tell just by looking out the window. We discussed the evidence for each argument, some dating back hundreds of years!
