The Leopard's Drum
This week we are basing our writing on The Leopard's Drum, an Asante tale from Ghana. Leopard has a magnificent drum, but he doesn't want anyone to share it.
We drew pictures of drums and made a story map of the key points in the story.
We also began learning a simplified version to orally retell the story with actions, which we hope to film at the end of the week. See the attachment for photos.
