Welcome back!

Happy new year! We hope you all had a relaxing and healthy Christmas and are feeling recharged and ready for the term ahead! Term 3 is always an exciting time in school when lots of fantastic learning takes place and we can't wait to get started as we have lots of fascinating things to discover and enriching activities planned. Please continue to support your child at home to embed their learning in school, thank you! This term, please note a change to our PE curriculum day to Thursday. Mr Robinson will teach the RAPS Sports curriculum so children will need to arrive in school in their PE kit on a Thursday. We will continue to practise movement on Friday afternoons as well as Music with Miss Stevens from Regency Performing Arts Academy but you will not need to wear PE kit on a Friday as well as Thursday. We are also lucky to have the expertise of our dedicated art teacher, Mrs Smith who will teach art on a Tuesday afternoon. At the end of last term we learnt about different Christmas traditions and the different ways Christmas is celebrated around the world. Mr Jones celebrated Christmas in Lithuania where the main Christmas celebration takes place on Christmas Eve. Mr Jones ate lots of lovely traditional Lithuanian food and even enjoyed a white Christmas! See the photos below to check out what he got up to!
