Maths: Representing Number

What a fantastic first Maths lesson in Year 3! After thinking about the ways Maths is used around us, we recalled and explored 2-digit numbers together! Once we recapped what the difference between a 1-digit number and 2-digit number is, we used our understanding to show different 2-digit numbers using the Dienes blocks, place-value counters and even our whiteboards alongside our talk partners to draw numbers pictorially too! WOW, Year 3!
