Curriculum: Vertebrates and invertebrates

Year 3 have been exploring the skeleton this week, learning lots of scientific names and finding key bones on our own bodies. We have been thinking about animals with and without backbones and classifying them based on this key feature. Most living creatures on Earth are actually invertebrates!

Fun fact: Some creatures have both an endoskeleton and an exoskeleton!
