Term 6: Swimming

Team Amin will be going swimming next term every Thursday! How exciting! Information for this has been sent out and is available online. Payment must be made online.

Please see key information below re what to wear:

Swimmers should wear appropriate swimwear, i.e. traditional costumes, shorts that are not too long, loose or inhibitive. If the shorts are long and loose, they will fill up with water and make it difficult for the children to pull themselves up to get out of the pool. In some cases they might fall off, therefore tight-fitting shorts should be worn or traditional one-piece swimming costumes.

All jewellery must be removed prior to entering the pool. The use of goggles is optional, but if used they should conform to the British Safety Standard requirements.

If your child has any contagious foot conditions (verruca, athlete’s foot etc.), please ensure they have a swim sock, which can be purchased from any sports outlet. Without this, your child will be unable to swim. Swimming caps are advisable, but not compulsory.
