Question of the Week!

Each week, I will do a blog post answering an intriguing question that I have been asked by a child this week. This will normally be a question that I haven't been able to answer in lessons.

This week's question was asked by Avi in our Topic lesson about the water cycle. Avi asked "What would happen to water if it entered space?"

I have done some research and found that water outside the Earth's atmosphere would likely boil instantly and therefore quickly evaporate and spread out into Space. On Earth, water boils at 100 degrees centigrade. However, in space the different atmospheric pressure means that water boils at a much lower temperature.
