Thanet Cross Country
Please see below for more information.....
One of the most popular sports events in the school year open to all children is the Thanet Primary Schools Cross-Country. Our aim is to have as many children involved from the school as possible, regardless of how good they are at running, to involve them in sport and in a school team, to have fun and just to take part.
The event takes place at Quex Park on SATURDAY 4TH MARCH 2023.
The race itself is not long & listed below are the timings of each race. I would suggest arriving at least 20 minutes before your child's race.

There are separate races for boys and girls in each year group. There is a fantastic feeling of accomplishment for children when they finish the race, regardless of position, and the event is always really exciting to watch with parents and schools cheering on their children. Each runner will also be given a numbered card as they cross the finish line, corresponding to his or her position in the race. Parents can use the number, from Saturday evening onwards, to find their child’s race time on the www.eastkentcoaching.com website. (Aside from the first three finishers in each race, names will not be published). Every child who takes part will receive a medal at the end of their race.
Letters and an application form have been sent via MCAS. Entries and payment must be returned by Tuesday 21st February. You must fill in the form to take part in the event and return to Katie.huntlea@ramsgateartsprimaryschool.co.uk
Any entries that are received after the deadline date cannot be processed.
Entry is £3.50 per runner, which is non-refundable and is payable to the school via SchoolMoney.
The closing date for this event is TUESDAY 21st FEBRUARY.
We hope to see you there.
Best wishes
Miss McCormack and Mr Robinson
