We are Poets!

This week in English, Team O'Flaherty have been studying Valerie Bloom's poem, 'The River.' On Tuesday, the children discussed how the poem is read. The children noticed that the line breaks and punctuation can change the intonation of the reader.

We then spent some time rehearsing the poem and performed a stanza in front of the class. We were blown away by the expression and gestures they included in their poem! Well done Team O!
