Eggscellent experiment!

This week we have been learning about our teeth. We conducted an experiment using eggshells and different types of drinks.

We all predicted that coca-cola would be would have the biggest effect on the eggshells. However, the sugar-free squash had the biggest effect on the egg causing them to corrode. The cola caused the most staining.

Ask your child what they think caused the corrosion to the eggshell in orange squash.
