Newspaper reports

During English lessons, Year 6 became journalists for the week and told their readers all about the exploits of Zoe from our book, 'Floodland'...

It can be a fine line ensuring that a report in a newspaper does not sound too much like a story, and the children did an excellent job in maintaining the difference.

Beginning with an orientation before moving on to the main body, the children informed the readership of how Zoe came to leave Norwich and what befell her on her journey to the mainland.

The children will finish the publishing of their newspapers on Monday!
