The children have used the atlases a lot in class to help develop their understanding of the world (in terms of continents, oceans and certain countries). In addition, they have used the lines of longitude and latitude to find certain points on the world.
Afterwards, we looked at how time zones work, why they were created and then created and answered questions using this knowledge.
