Materials Everywhere

We've hit the ground running with our new topic and the children have really been enjoying it. We've explored lots of different objects and discussed the different materials they're made from. We then thought about the properties of each object; are they bumpy, soft, hard, waterproof, smooth, fragile, rough, bendy....

The children have been making scientific notes of different objects around the classroom and sorting objects into groups of similar properties.
