The weather this week...

This week, we stepped into the shoes of real weather forecasters! 🌍☀️ We have been learning all about the weather and how special tools help measure different weather conditions. These weather instruments help us understand what the weather is like right now in our area.

But what about the future? If we want to know what the weather will be like tomorrow or next week, we turn to the weather forecast. A weather forecast is a prediction based on patterns and data.

To put our learning into practice, we worked in small groups to create our very own weather forecasts! 🗺️🌡️ We used maps, weather symbols, and key vocabulary to describe the expected weather conditions. Some of us reported sunny skies, while others predicted rain and wind. It was exciting to see how different locations could have different weather on the same day!

This activity helped us understand how weather forecasts are made and presented. We also had fun practising our speaking and presentation skills as we shared our forecasts with the class.
