Music and Books

A blog post co-written by Team Bullard members Douglas Whitehouse and Reuben Squier
This week we had visits from my dad, David Whitehouse. He showed us one of his books in loads of different
Languages such as Japanese, Spanish and American. This showed us how different countries had different
Interpretations. Our task was to write down open and closed questions .e.g. How does the colour red make you feel? Would be an open question and what is your favourite food? Would be a closed question.
Later on, Naomi did a workshop which inspired us to make a song through drawing and that song was called BIG BIG JEFF, it went a little like this.
BIG BIG JEFF has got three legs
BIG BIG JEFF has got no friends,
he has no wings so he can't fly
he dreams of soaring through the sky,
he looks like a chicken and a jellyfish
every birthday he makes one wish,
BIG BIG JEFF,
don't worry I'll be you're friend,
BFF's until the end
you're special no matter what.
you're special. You mean a lot to
meeeeeee, BIG BIG JEFF.
We really enjoyed these workshops and creating the song.
